Our Brand Story

"Bodhi" is derived from a Sanskrit word which means "awakening" or "enlightenment", while "fusion" usually refers to the process of combining different elements to create something new and harmonious. Together, "Bodhi Fusion" suggests a blend of spiritual awakening and positive energy, which hopefully could be injected into our products to promote blessings and empower individuals.
Me, as the funder of this brand, is actually a lawyer who has been living in a bustling city, caught in the whirlwind of daily life. I have to say that I did achieve some outward success in my career, but I often felt a void within a sense of disconnection and restlessness. Then I started to resort to books related to positive thinking, manifestation, and started excising meditation. Out of my surprise, my life has been changed gradually! The most important change is that I started to leave with peace and harmony in heart even with the uncertainties of our ever-changing world.
As part of my “self-healing” process, I frequently visit Mount Wutai which is the foremost of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains and accidentally found that the monks in a temple were chanting towards some gorgeous bracelets. Then I came up with an idea, why not promote those beautiful crafts to people outside of China who can also enjoy those crafts as fashion accessories on one hand and most importantly with the power and positive energy infused? An even better idea came to my mind that I can also be a bridge between kind people who pay for those crafts and people who are living in poverty and needing help? How amazing is that!
Hopefully by having our products, you could not only be shining by outlook, but also have a shining heart and soul with positive energy and love!

How our products are infused with energy?

All of our products are chanted with mantras and scriptures in temples in Mountain Wutai in China through an action called “Kai Guang” by monks. Mount Wutai is located in Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, China. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the foremost of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains, making it the most auspicious place for "Kai Guang”.
Literally, "Kai Guang" means to start letting an object see the light. "Kai Guang" involves infusing the invisible, boundless divine power of the universe into a statue, thereby endowing the statue with boundless spiritual power. Therefore, "Kai Guang" is an essential ritual after a statue is consecrated.
Chanting mantras and scriptures during "Kai Guang" can activate the jade and infuse it with spiritual energy, which can ward off evil spirits.
A statue or an auspicious craft item without "Kai Guang" is merely an artwork and cannot be worshipped or revered by people. Only after "Kai Guang" or chanting scriptures does it possess spiritual energy.
